Background Information on Conso
Originally a fashion millinery trimmings company known as Conso Products Company, Conso was founded in 1867 with its headquarters in Union, South Carolina. Using its expertise in the areas of design and fashion, Conso adapted its business to include trimmings for home design. As a result, Conso has become the world's largest manufacturer of decorative trimmings for the home furnishings industry.
The Wm. Wright Co, has long been a manufacturer and marketer of various trimmings for clothing, crafts, and home decorating. In 2000, Conso joined forces with the Wm. Wright Company to further expand their selection of trimmings, which now include art and needle products under the name Boye, quilting products under the name EZ Quilting, and Bondex Iron-On products. Today, Conso offers the largest selection of stock items, including special need items designed for various sales markets.
